Hugh Swynnerton Thomas, baron Thomas de Swynnerton, était un historien et écrivain anglais. Bien qu’il soit surtout connu pour son livre La guerre civile espagnole, il est également l’auteur de The Slave Trade, publié en 2006, et de nombreux autres livres. En outre, Thomas a été président du Centre for Policy Studies.
