Mina Tembeka Soga était une militante sud-africaine de la mission. Elle a été la première femme africaine à participer à la Conférence mondiale des missions à Tambaram, en Inde, en 1938. Poursuivant son action de plaidoyer pendant près d'un siècle auprès de l'Église, elle a contribué aux domaines de l'éducation et de l'action sociale. Voyageant à l'étranger, elle a collecté des fonds pour la communauté noire de Queenstown, construisant des logements sûrs tels que des auberges.
Biography
Mina Tembeka Soga was a South African mission advocate. She was the first African woman to participate in the World Mission Conference in Tambaram India of 1938. Continuing her advocacy for almost a century with the church, she contributed to the fields of education and social work. Travelling internationally, she raised funds for the black community in Queenstown, building safe housing such as hostels.
