Smockey, né Serge Bambara, est un artiste de hip-hop, un acteur et un activiste politique. En 2013, il a cofondé Le Balai Citoyen, un mouvement politique populaire, avec le musicien reggae Sams'K Le Jah. Le mouvement a participé au soulèvement burkinabé de 2014, une vague de protestations qui a forcé le président Compaoré à démissionner et à fuir le pays.
Biography
Smockey, born Serge Bambara, is a hip hop artist, actor and political activist. In 2013 he co-founded Le Balai Citoyen, a grassroots political movement, together with the reggae musician Sams'K Le Jah. The movement participated in the 2014 Burkinabé uprising, a wave of protests which forced President Compaoré to resign and flee the country.
