Amelia Osimosu était l’une des quatre femmes qui ont obtenu un siège au gouvernement par le biais du Conseil central d’Egba en 1949. Elle a dirigé 10000 manifestants à la marche des femmes d’Egba, pour protester contre l’élimination des taxes imposées sur les femmes d’Egbaland.
Biography
Amelia Osimosu was one of four women who gained an elected seat into government through the Egba Central Council in 1949. She led 10,000 demonstrators at the Egba Women’s March, protesting for the removal of taxes enforced onto the market women of Egbaland.
