Biographie
Festus Mogae a été le troisième président du Botswana (1er avril 1998 - 1er avril 2008) et était membre du Botswana Democratic Party (BDP). Pendant sa présidence, il a juré de s'attaquer à la pauvreté et au chômage, et de travailler à l'arrêt de la propagation du VIH-SIDA. Il a remporté plusieurs prix, dont le prix Ibrahim 2008 pour la réussite d'un dirigeant africain.
Biography
Festus Mogae was the 3rd President of Botswana (1 April 1998 - 1 April 2008) and was a member of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP). During his presidency he swore to tackle poverty and unemployment, as well as working on stopping the spread of HIV-AIDS. He has won a number of awards such as 2008 Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership.
