David D. Kpormakpor a été le premier président du Conseil d'État (7 mars 1994 - 1er septembre 1995) qui a gouverné le Liberia pendant la première guerre civile libérienne. Cependant, après une année de négociations qui n'ont abouti à rien, le Conseil d'État a été dissous et réformé afin de mettre fin à l'impasse.
Biography
David D. Kpormakpor was the first Chairman of the Council of State (7 March 1994 - 1 September 1995) that took governance over Liberia during the First Liberian Civil War. However after a year of negotiations that got nowhere, the Council of State was disbanded and reformed in order to end the stalemate.
