Biographie
Le roi Muhammad VIII al-Amin, qui fut le dernier bey de Tunis (15 mai 1943 - 25 juillet 1957). Il a tenté de soutenir le mouvement national tunisien anticolonial en opposition aux Français. Cependant, avec un certain nombre de revers et de réformes en faveur du gouvernement français, son pouvoir a été retiré petit à petit, ce qui a conduit à l'indépendance de la Tunisie.
Biography
King Muhammad VIII al-Amin, who was the final Bey of Tunis (15 May 1943 - 25 July 1957). He attempted to support the anti-colonial Tunisian national movement in opposition of the French, however with a number of setbacks and reforms toward the French government, his power was removed piece by piece leading to Tunisian independence.
