Biographie
Wanjiru Kihoro était une économiste kenyane prolifique et une militante féministe. Fondatrice du groupe de femmes panafricain Akina Mama wa Afrika, elle a œuvré à la libération de prisonniers politiques sous le gouvernement de Daniel Arap Moi. Elle est décédée à la suite d'un accident d'avion qui l'a plongée dans un coma de quatre ans.
Biography
Wanjiru Kihoro was a prolific Kenyan economist and feminist activist. She was a founder of the Pan-African women's group Akina Mama wa Afrika and worked to free political prisoners during the governance of Daniel arap Moi. She died following a plane crash which led to her being in a four year coma.
