Ian Khama, né Seretse Ian Khama, est le 4e président du Botswana (1er avril 2008 - 31 mars 2018) et le fils de Seretse Khama, 1er président du Botswana. Sous sa présidence, il a créé la Directorate of Intelligence and Security Services (DISS), l'équivalent botswanais du FBI. Il s'est opposé au gouvernement zimbabwéen en ne le reconnaissant pas jusqu'à ce que Mugabe soit contraint de démissionner.
Biography
Ian Khama, born Seretse Ian Khama, was the 4th President of Botswana (1 April 2008 - 31 March 2018) and son of Seretse Khama, 1st President of Botswana. Under his presidency he set up the Directorate of Intelligence and Security Services (DISS) which is the Botswana equivalent to the FBI. He stood against the Zimbabwean government by not recognising the government until Mugabe was made to resign.
