Paulin Joachim était un poète et journaliste béninois. Il a travaillé pour France-Soir dans les années 1960, rapportant et contextualisant la poussée vers l'indépendance sur le continent. En 2006, il a été lauréat de la médaille WEB du Bois et a travaillé avec David Diop et Philippe Soupault.
