Biographie
Jean-Baptiste Hachème a été président du Dahomey, l'actuel Bénin, sous le titre de président du comité révolutionnaire pendant une journée (décembre 1967). Il a eu une longue carrière militaire mais a été révoqué à deux reprises, puis accusé d'avoir planifié un coup d'État en 1973 et emprisonné pour 20 ans de travaux forcés.
Biography
Jean-Baptiste Hachème was president of Dahomey, present-day Benin, styled under the title Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee for one day (December 1967). He had a long military career but was dismissed from the military twice and later was accused of planning a coup in 1973 and imprisoned for 20 years of hard labour.
