Biographie
Robert Guéï a pris la tête de la Côte d'Ivoire à la suite d'un coup d'État militaire, bien qu'il n'en soit pas l'instigateur. Il a d'abord été président du Comité national de salut public avant de devenir le troisième président de la Côte d'Ivoire (24 décembre 1999 - 26 octobre 2000). Il a été tué dès les premières heures de la guerre civile qui a débuté en 2002.
Biography
Robert Guéï took over the governance of Côte d'Ivoire after military coup, although he did not instigate the coup. He was first the President of the National Public Salvation Committee and then took the role as 3rd President of Côte d'Ivoire (24 December 1999 - 26 October 2000). He was killed within the first hours of the civil war that started in 2002.
