Biographie
Leymah Roberta Gbowee est une lauréate du prix Nobel de la paix originaire du Liberia. Elle a reçu ce prix en 2011 pour son travail au sein du mouvement pacifiste des femmes qui a mis fin à la deuxième guerre civile libérienne et a contribué à la mise en place d'un nouveau gouvernement démocratiquement élu. Elle participe à de nombreux projets, dont la production d'un documentaire, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, qui a remporté le prix du meilleur documentaire au festival du film de Tribeca en 2008.
Biography
Leymah Roberta Gbowee is a Nobel Peace Prize winner from Liberia. She received the award in 2011 for her work with the women's peace movement that brought an end to the Second Liberian Civil War, and helped to get in a new democratically elected government. She is involved in many undertakings including producing a documentary film, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, which won best documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008.
