Viriato da Cruz était un célèbre poète et homme politique angolais. Bien qu'il ait écrit des poèmes en angolais et en portugais, il s'est vivement opposé à la domination portugaise en Angola et a participé à la fondation des Nouveaux intellectuels d'Angola. Il a été exilé en Chine, qui a ensuite refusé son retour en Angola.
Biography
Viriato da Cruz was a famous Angolan poet and politician. Although writing poetry in both Angolan and Portuguese, he was extremely vocal against the Portuguese rule of Angola and helped to found New Intellectuals of Angola. He was exiled to China, who then refused his return to Angola.
