Beverley Bryan est une éducatrice jamaïcaine et universitaire à la retraite. Elle enseigne l’enseignement des langues à l’Université des Antilles à Mona. Avec Stella Dadzie et Suzanne Scafe, elle est l’auteure de The Heart of the Race : Black Women’s Lives in Britain, qui recrée et enregistre la place des femmes noires dans l’histoire britannique. Bryan était une Black Panther britannique et un membre fondateur du groupe des femmes noires de Brixton.
Biography
Beverley Bryan is a Jamaican educationist and retired academic. She a professor of language education at the University of the West Indies in Mona. With Stella Dadzie and Suzanne Scafe, she is author of The Heart of the Race: Black Women's Lives in Britain, which reclaims and records Black women’s place in British history. Bryan was a British Black Panther and a founding member of the Brixton Black Women’s Group.
