Lionel Bernstein était un architecte sud-africain juif, militant anti-apartheid et prisonnier politique. Il a joué un rôle clé dans le Parti communiste sud-africain (SACP) et l’African National Congress (ANC) et a contribué à la formation du Congrès sud-africain des démocrates. Bernstein a travaillé en étroite collaboration avec Nelson Mandela.

Lionel Bernstein was a Jewish South African architect, anti-apartheid activist, and political prisoner. He played a key role in the South African Communist Party (SACP) and the African National Congress (ANC) and helped to form the South African Congress of Democrats. Bernstein worked closely with Nelson Mandela.
