Biographie

Abdelhamid Ben Badis était un philosophe et une personnalité de premier plan du mouvement de réforme islamique en Algérie. Il est le fondateur de l'Association des oulémas musulmans algériens, qui a influencé la manière dont de nombreux enfants algériens ont été éduqués et a eu un impact important sur la guerre d'indépendance algérienne.

Biography

Abdelhamid Ben Badis was a philosopher and high profile individual in the Islamic Reform movement of Algeria. He is the founder of the Association of Algerian Muslim Ulema which influenced the way many Algerian children were educated and had a great effect on the lead up the Algerian War of Independence.
