Biographie
Georgina Beier est une artiste britannique née à Londres, où elle a étudié l’art avant de déménager à Zaria dans le nord du Nigeria. Beier a conçu des costumes et des décors pour le théâtre de Duro Ladipo. En tant que membre du groupe Oshogbo, elle a enseigné des ateliers d’art dans la ville yoruba d’Oshogbo de 1963 à 1966.
Biography
Georgina Beier was a British artist who was born in London and studied art there before moving to Zaria in northern Nigeria. Beier designed costumes and sets for Duro Ladipo’s theatre. As a member of the Oshogbo Group, she taught art workshops in the Yoruba town of Oshogbo from 1963 to 1966.
