Mohamed Siad Barre a été le troisième président de la Somalie (21 octobre 1969 - 26 janvier 1991), un rôle qu'il a obtenu après avoir lancé un coup d'État et mis en place une junte militaire. Socialiste, il a nationalisé la quasi-totalité de l'industrie et imposé un nouveau système d'écriture pour la langue somali.
Biography
Mohamed Siad Barre was 3rd President of Somalia (21 October 1969 - 26 January 1991), a role he gained after launching a coup d'état and installing a military junta. A socialist, he made almost all industry nationalised and enforced a new writing system for the Somali language.
