Joyce Banda a été présidente du Malawi (7 avril 2012 - 31 mai 2014) et femme politique pendant plusieurs années. Elle a été la première femme vice-présidente du Malawi, ainsi que la première femme présidente. Le magazine Forbes l'a désignée comme la femme la plus puissante d'Afrique dans sa liste de 2014. Elle a également fondé sa propre organisation caritative qui permet aux orphelins du Malawi de recevoir une éducation.
Biography
Joyce Banda was the President of Malawi (7 April 2012 - 31 May 2014) and a politician for a number of years. She was the first female Vice-President of Malawi, as well as first female president. Forbes magazine named her as the most powerful woman in Africa in their 2014 list. She also founded her own charitable organisation that puts Malawian orphans through education.
