Mohamed Bacar a été président d'Anjouan (mars 2002 - mars 2008) à la suite d'un coup d'État. Il s'est présenté aux élections après le renversement du gouvernement, mais il a été accusé d'avoir truqué les résultats et a finalement été destitué.

Mohamed Bacar was President of Anjouan (March 2002 - March 2008) following a coup. He ran for office following the overthrowing of the government, however he was accused of fixing the results but was then eventually deposed.
