Hassan Gouled Aptidon a été le premier président de Djibouti (27 juin 1977 - 8 mai 1999) et a transformé le pays en un État à parti unique en 1981. Il a reçu l'Ordre de la Couronne du Royaume en 1998 de la part de la Malaisie.

Hassan Gouled Aptidon was the 1st President of Djibouti (27 June 1977 - 8 May 1999) and changed the country into a one party state in 1981. He received the Order of the Crown of the Realm in 1998 from Malaysia.
