Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed a été le sixième président de la Somalie (14 octobre 2004 - 29 décembre 2008). Avant de devenir président de la Somalie, il était président du Puntland, la région dont il était originaire dans le nord. Il a fait l'objet d'une tentative d'assassinat en 2006 par un kamikaze à bord d'une voiture piégée.
Biography
Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed was the 6th President of Somalia (14 October 2004 - 29 December 2008). Before he became president of Somalia he was President of Puntland, the region he was from in the north. There was an assassination attempt made on his life in 2006 by suicide car bomber.
