Ahmadou Ahidjo a été le premier président du Cameroun (5 mai 1960 - 6 novembre 1982) et le premier ministre du Cameroun oriental (1er janvier 1960 - 15 mai 1960). Dans les années 1960, il est victime d'une rébellion de l'Union des peuples du Cameroun, qu'il écrase en 1970. Il a démissionné en 1982.
Biography
Ahmadou Ahidjo was the 1st President of Cameroon (5 May 1960 - 6 November 1982) and Prime Minister of East Cameroon (1 January 1960 - 15 May 1960). He was on the receiving end of a rebellion in the 1960s from the Union of the Peoples of Cameroon but quashed them by 1970. He resigned in 1982.
