Biographie
Marlene Smith est une artiste. Elle est l’un des membres fondateurs du BLK Art Group, une association de jeunes artistes noirs qui explorent ce qu’était l’art noir et ce qu’il pourrait devenir. Smith a été directeur de recherche au Royaume-Uni pour le projet BAM (Black Arts and Modernism) financé par l’AHRC à l’Université des Arts de Londres de 2015 à 2018. Son travail est largement exposé.
Biography
Marlene Smith is an artist. She is one of the founding members of the BLK Art Group, an association of young Black artists exploring what Black art was and what it could become. Smith was the UK Research Manager for the AHRC-funded Black Arts and Modernism (BAM) project at the University of the Arts London from 2015 to 2018. Her work is widely exhibited.
