Kwame Kwei-Armah OBE est un acteur, dramaturge et metteur en scène britannique. Il est un mécène des Black Cultural Archives à Brixton, Londres, qui sont nées d’une réponse communautaire au massacre de la New Cross en 1981, à la Police and Criminal Evidence Act en 1984 et aux résultats médiocres des enfants noirs dans les écoles britanniques. Biography
Kwame Kwei-Armah OBE is a British actor, playwright, director and is presently Artistic Director of the Young Vic in London. He is a patron of the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton, London, which grew from a community response to the New Cross Massacre of 1981, the Police and Criminal Evidence Act in 1984 and the underachievement of Black children in British schools. The Archives work to enhance the representation of people of African and Caribbean descent in the United Kingdom.
