Basil Davidson était un journaliste et historien britannique qui a écrit de nombreux livres sur l’histoire et la politique africaines. Il a participé au mouvement anti-apartheid depuis 1969. Davidson était également un partisan du panafricanisme et critique le gouvernement de la minorité blanche en Rhodésie.

Basil Davidson was a British journalist and historian who authored many books on African history and politics. He was involved in the Anti-Apartheid Movement since 1969. Davidson was also a supporter of Pan-Africanism and critical of the white-minority government in Rhodesia.
