Tsehaytu Beraki was an Eritrean musician, poet, and political activist. She gained notoriety as a Krar musician, incorporating her political surrounding into her verse. Concerned with representing Eritrean resistance to Ethiopian governance, as the struggles amplified she found herself forced to join the armed resistance.
