Florence Mophosho était une politicienne sud-africaine et militante anti-apartheid du Congrès national africain. Elle a mobilisé des femmes dans sa ville natale d’Alexandre pour les manifestations contre les laissez-passer pour les femmes africaines. Elle a participé à la marche des femmes de 1956 et a continué à travailler dans la clandestinité pour le Congrès national africain.

Biography

Florence Mophosho was a South African politician and anti-apartheid activist of the African National Congress. She mobilised women in her birthplace of Alexander for the demonstrations against the passes for African women. She participated in the Women’s March of 1956 and continued to work underground for the African National Congress.
