Mary Butcher Turok is a former anti-apartheid campaigner concerned with democracy as a member of the South African Communist Party, the African National Congress, and South African Congress of Democrats. As a representative, she attended the All African Peoples Conference 1958 in Cairo, which established economic sanctions against South Africa.
