Artiste et éducateur, Aina Onabolu est généralement considéré comme le père du modernisme dans l'art nigérian. Biography
Aina Onabolu was an artist and educator, and is generally considered the father of modernism in Nigerian art. He was the first Nigerian in the field to receive a formal education in Europe, at the Académie Julian in Paris and Royal Academy of Art in London. Much of his work depicts everyday scenes and Yoruba fashion.
