Margaret Wambui Kenyatta a été la première femme maire de Nairobi. Elle a également été la représentante permanente de Nairobi auprès du Programme des Nations unies pour l'environnement. Elle a défendu les droits des femmes en tant que membre fondateur de l'Organisation panafricaine des femmes.

Biography

Margaret Wambui Kenyatta was the first female Mayor of Nairobi. She also served as Nairobi’s permanent representative to the United Nations Environment Programme. She was an advocate for women’s rights as a founding member of the Pan African Women’s Organisation.
