Biographie
Shewareged Gedle était une activiste qui a combattu pendant la deuxième guerre italo-éthiopienne. Elle a principalement contribué à l'effort de guerre en fournissant des médicaments, mais a été capturée par les forces italiennes après avoir organisé l'attaque d'une prison et a été emprisonnée en Sardaigne et torturée. Elle a également fondé l'Organisation de soutien aux femmes éthiopiennes.
Biography
Shewareged Gedle was an activist and fought in the Second Italo-Ethiopian War. She primarily contributed to the war effort by providing medicine but was captured by Italian forces after organising an attack on a prison and was imprisoned in Sardinia and tortured. She also founded the Ethiopian Women's Support Organisation.
