Isaac Theophilus Akunna Wallace-Johnson était un journaliste et le fondateur de la Ligue de la jeunesse ouest-africaine dans les années 1930. Il a commencé son agitation contre l'Empire britannique avec son pamphlet The Cloud of Doom, puis a fait campagne avec succès avec la WAYL et a remporté les élections éphémères du conseil municipal de Freetown en 1938 et du conseil législatif en 1939.
Biography
Isaac Theophilus Akunna Wallace-Johnson was a journalist and the founder of the West African Youth League during the 1930s. Beginning his agitation against the British Empire with his pamphlet The Cloud of Doom, he later went on to successfully campaign with the WAYL and to win the shortlived Freetown Municipal Council elections of 1938 and the Legislative Council elections of 1939.
