Gladys Anoma was a scientist who embraced a political career with the Association of Ivorian Women between 1966 and 1980. Her efforts helped to establish increased participation of women in the political sphere. She was also active supporting orphanages and holding educational conferences on legal procedures following marriage and divorce.
