Kanyama Chiume était un enseignant et un homme politique qui a dirigé le mouvement d'indépendance du Malawi contre l'impérialisme britannique. Il a été secrétaire général de la publicité du Congrès africain du Nyasaland, premier ministre de l'information du Malawi et membre exécutif de l'Organisation de l'unité africaine.
Biography
Kanyama Chiume was a teacher and politician, who led Malawi’s independence movement against British imperialism. He was publicity secretary-general of the Nyasaland African Congress, Malawi’s first minister of information and an executive member of the Organisation of African Unity.
