Efua Theodora Sutherland était une célèbre dramaturge, metteur en scène, auteur pour enfants, poète et activiste culturelle panafricaine ghanéenne qui a fondé le Drama Studio à Accra et créé le magazine littéraire Okyeame. Dramaturge pionnière de renommée internationale, elle est surtout connue pour Foriwa, Edufa et The Marriage of Anansewa.
Biography
Efua Theodora Sutherland was a celebrated Ghanaian playwright, director, children's author, poet and Pan-African cultural activist who founded the Drama Studio in Accra and established the literary magazine Okyeame. An internationally-renowned pioneer dramatist, she is best known for Foriwa, Edufa and The Marriage of Anansewa.
