Gertrude Shope est une éducatrice sud-africaine, ancienne présidente de la Ligue des femmes de l'ANC, poste qu'elle a occupé jusqu'en 1993. Elle est ensuite devenue membre du parlement sud-africain et a occupé cette fonction au sein du gouvernement d'unité nationale.
Biography
Gertrude Shope is a South African educator and previously president of the ANC's Women's League, a position she held until 1993. She then went on to become a member of parliament of South Africa and held the role within the Government of National Unity.
