Gambo Sawaba était une femme politique et une militante nigériane, née de parents immigrés. Elle a fait campagne contre les mariages précoces et pour l'instauration d'un système scolaire occidental dans le nord du pays. Elle est considérée comme la voix des femmes du nord du Nigeria.

Gambo Sawaba was a Nigerian politician and activist, born to migrant parents, she campaigned against under-age marriages and to institute a westernised style of schooling in the north of the country. She is deemed the voice of the women of northern Nigeria.
