Rekik Youssef

Biographie

Youssef Rekik était un peintre et comédien tunisien. Il était connu pour son travail dans la peinture sur verre, domaine dans lequel il était considéré comme l'un des meilleurs. Une grande partie de son œuvre est influencée par la mythologie orientale et la calligraphie de Kairouan. Il a également fondé le Festival international des arts plastiques et écrit un certain nombre de pièces de théâtre comiques.

Biography

Youssef Rekik was a Tunisian painter and comedian. He was known for his work in glass painting, a field he was considered to be one of the best. Much of his work was influenced by eastern mythology and Kairouan calligraphy. He also founded the International Festival of Plastic Arts and wrote a number of comedic plays.
