Sarah Nyendwoha Ntiro est une universitaire ougandaise qui a été la première femme d’Afrique centrale et orientale à obtenir un diplôme de l’Université d’Oxford. Elle s’est battue contre le sexisme dans l’éducation, ayant été invitée à se rendre là où des cours 'féminins' étaient enseignés. Elle a obtenu des diplômes en histoire, géographie, anglais et latin.
Biography
Sarah Nyendwoha Ntiro is a Ugandan academic that was the first Central and Eastern African woman to gain a degree from Oxford University. She fought against the sexism in education having been told to go to where 'female' courses were taught. She achieved qualifications in History, Geography, English and Latin.
