Mohamed Morsi a été le cinquième président de l'Égypte (30 juin 2012 - 3 juillet 2013) et a modifié temporairement la constitution en lui donnant un pouvoir absolu sur les lois du pays. Morsi a été démis de ses fonctions lors du coup d'État égyptien de 2013, après les manifestations égyptiennes de juin 2013 au cours desquelles des millions d'Égyptiens ont demandé sa démission immédiate. Il a été jugé pour incitation au meurtre de l'opposition et pour avoir divulgué des secrets d'État. Il a été reconnu coupable et condamné à la peine de mort, mais cette décision a été annulée depuis. En mars 2018, il était toujours en prison.
Biography
Mohamed Morsi was the 5th President of Egypt (30 June 2012 - 3 July 2013) and changed the constitution temporarily giving him absolute power over law in the country. Morsi was removed from office in the 2013 Egyptian coup d'état after the June 2013 Egyptian protests where millions of Egyptians called for his immediate resignation. He was put on trial for inciting murder of his opposition and leaking state secrets, he was found guilty and given the death sentence but that has since been overturned. He was still in prison as of March 2018.
