Biographie
John Mensah Sarbah a été la première personne originaire de la Côte-de-l'Or à être inscrite au barreau anglais. En outre, il a participé à la fondation de la Société de protection des droits des Aborigènes, qui est devenue la principale organisation politique qui a mené une opposition organisée et soutenue contre le gouvernement colonial, jetant ainsi les bases de l'indépendance du Ghana.
Biography
John Mensah Sarbah was the first person from the Gold Coast to be called to the English bar. In addition he helped to found the Aborigines' Rights Protection Society, which became the main political organisation that led organised and sustained opposition against the colonial government, laying the foundation for Ghanaian independence.
