Larbi Ben M'hidi

Biographie

Larbi Ben M'hidi, également connu sous le nom de Si Larbi ou Ben M'hidi, est l'un des membres fondateurs du Front de libération nationale (FLN). Musulman rigoriste, il s'est engagé dans le Parti populaire algérien clandestin et a participé à de nombreux témoignages de dissidence et d'émeutes. Arrêté et détenu, il a résisté aux interrogatoires et a finalement été exécuté, ce qui n'a été admis qu'en 2000.

Biography

Larbi Ben M'hidi, who was also known as Si Larbi or Ben M'hidi, was one of the founding members of the National Liberation Front (FLN). A strict Muslim, he became involved with the underground Algerian People's Party and was involved with numerous accounts of dissidence and rioting. He was arrested and held, holding up against interrogation and was finally executed, though this was only admitted to in 2000.
