Buchi Emecheta est une romancière, scénariste, autobiographe et féministe acclamée, née au Nigeria, décrite comme « la première femme noire romancière à succès vivant en Grande-Bretagne après 1948 ». Buchi Emecheta was an acclaimed Nigerian-born novelist, children's writer, screenwriter, autobiographer and feminist, described as "the first successful black woman novelist living in Britain after 1948."
