Biographie
Hilia Barber est une femme politique originaire de Guinée-Bissau. Elle a occupé des fonctions au sein du gouvernement depuis les années 1980, mais a été la première femme ministre des affaires étrangères pendant une courte période en 1999. Elle a travaillé avec Israël pendant la guerre civile en Guinée-Bissau pour obtenir une aide humanitaire et a depuis été ambassadrice dans ce pays, ainsi qu'en France.
Biography
Hilia Barber is a politician hailing from Guinea-Bissau. She has held roles in government since the 1980s, however was the first ever female Minister of Foreign Affairs for a short time in 1999. She worked with Israel during the Guinea-Bissau Civil War to gain humanitarian aid and has since been the ambassador to the country, as well as France.
