Mahmoud Ahmed est un chanteur éthiopien d'origine gurage. Il a acquis une grande popularité en Éthiopie dans les années 1970 et au sein de la diaspora éthiopienne dans les années 1980, avant de connaître une renommée internationale auprès des amateurs de musique africaine en Europe et en Amérique.

Mahmoud Ahmed is an Ethiopian singer of Gurage ancestry. He gained great popularity in Ethiopia in the 1970s and among the Ethiopian diaspora in the 1980s, before rising to international fame with African music fans in Europe and the Americas.
